What Is SCIP Construction?

Structural Concrete Insulated Panels, commonly known as SCIP, are a proven construction system that integrates structure, insulation, and durability into a single wall assembly.

Unlike traditional wood framing, SCIP construction uses reinforced steel mesh, rigid insulation, and concrete to create a solid, monolithic building envelope. The result is a stronger, quieter, more energy-efficient structure designed to perform in demanding environments.

How SCIP Panels Are Made

  • Step 1: Steel Reinforcement
    Galvanized steel wire mesh forms the structural framework of the panel, providing strength and load-bearing capacity.

    Step 2: Insulated Core
    A rigid insulation core is integrated between the steel meshes, delivering continuous thermal performance with minimal thermal bridging.

    Step 3: Concrete Application
    Concrete is applied to both sides of the panel, encapsulating the reinforcement and insulation into a single, durable wall system.

    Step 4: Cured, Solid Assembly
    Once cured, the panel becomes a strong, impact-resistant structural element.
